Nebia by Moen Wins Gold IDSA Design Award

We are thrilled to announce that the Nebia by Moen Spa Shower received Gold in this year’s International Design Excellence Awards (IDEA). 🎉

The International Design Excellence Awards (IDEA) is one of the world’s oldest and most influential industrial design awards programs. For the past 41 years, the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA) has been recognizing “significant contribution to the society or the industrial design profession, excellence in academic advancement, or personal achievement” through their IDEA program.

Each year, the IDEA Ceremony celebrates the world’s best industrial designs across 20 categories. This year was a record-breaking year for the program as it received 2,087 entries, the most entries in its history. Out of these submissions, only 142 entries received top awards with 61 Bronze, 50 Silver, and 31 Gold Awards. 

The awards are given on the basis of five main criteria:

• Design Innovation
• Benefit to the User
• Benefit to the Client
• Benefit to Society
• Appropriate Aesthetics

Entries are judged by 44 experts in the field of design, including leaders from companies such as Adobe, Amazon, Garmin, HP and Logitech. 

IDEA’s high standard for design excellence and rigorous judging process sets the benchmark for all design awards programs and so we are extremely proud to have received a Gold Award in the Home Category.
