Message from our founders:
Seven years ago we launched Nebia with a desire to revolutionize how people interact with water. Our vision was to make great showers and save as much water as possible. But even more importantly, we were driven to build a business that has a net positive impact on the planet. Today, we are thrilled to announce that we are taking that commitment one step further by joining 1% for the Planet.
Since we started Nebia the environmental crisis has only gotten more dire. In our home state of California severe drought has become commonplace and the long-term prospects are frightening. We need more investment in environmental causes and innovations. By joining 1% for the Planet we are committing 1% of our annual sales to support approved environmental nonprofits making a real, tangible impact for a better future. In doing so, we join the likes of other pioneering companies that we look up to like Patagonia, Oxo, Klean Kanteen, and Peak Design.
To-date, our customers have saved over 450 million gallons of water and, along the way, our showerheads have received numerous awards. We have expanded into sustainably designed bathroom accessories and our products are in over 100,000 homes. As our business continues to grow we want to further multiply our positive impact on the planet and joining 1% for the Planet is an exciting next step.
Thank you for joining us on this journey.
Onward and upward,
Nebia Co-Founders
Gabe, Philip, and Carlos
P.S. Listen to Philip talk about why this partnership is so important to us here.
About 1% for the Planet
